Established in 1979, Midwich was one of the first distributors to enter the audio visual market and is now Europe’s largest distributor of audio visual products. In 2008, Midwich sold in excess of 70,000 projectors. The company has almost a 50% share of the UK XGA projector market and more than an 80% share of the UK large format display market. Midwich also has a consumer division that is worth over £60 million.

Inevitably, this dominance in the projector market has given Midwich the perfect platform to grow a successful projector lamp division, both in the UK and in Europe. Midwich is the largest distributor in Europe for many of its vendors and has the strongest relationships. This gives the company better buying power and the ability to offer its customers the very best pricing. Which Lamps was launched in the UK on the 1st December 2007. The division was then rolled out into Germany and Holland in July 2008 and then France and Belgium in October 2008 before our full European launch in January 2009. Which Lamps is managed by a full Business Development team and is supported by a European sales force.
